Self Publisher Store have now taken on Doug Kidd to help out with publication of January's catalogue. If you want your entry in the catalogue corrected before pnublication you had better be quick, mid-night tonight is the cut-off point.

I'd just like to say welcome Doug to SPS from all us authors. appreciate all you are doing for us.

Seal and Shorty have been working towards SPS Authors' books being distributed through many major outlets. They have been working extra hard these last few weeks getting the SPS database loaded with the correct information so that Barnes and Noble can place an order for Self Publisher Store books.

I am confident that these efforts will be rewarded very soon when that first order arrives.

No doubt there is then going to be another round of hard work by these two guys. We should all thank them, I know I do.

What is Self Publisher Store

Self Publisher Store was started by two men in the USA who wanted to get their books published but had come up against "The Publishing Industry" a very conservative medium. It seems that unless you are an established author or some sort of personality then you stand very little chance of having your book published by the conventional route and so they came up with the idea of www.selfpublisherstore.com which is a collection of self published authors who have bandied together under the SPS banner to offer a united front to book distributors. So far there are over 100 authors with over 300 titles available on the SPS website. Very soon we expect to receive the first order for our books from a major distributor. It has been as long time coming but I believe it will be well worth the wait.

SPS is helping to break the mould for all self published authors, so spread the word far and wide 2010 will be the year of the self published author.
