I'm a former radio announcer. Over the years, I've had many ideas come through my head from just listening to the music I'd play. Entire stories would spring to life just from a line or two of a classic song.
ReplyDeleteMy first novel is called, "If You Could Read My Mind - A Nicholas Turner Novel". It introduces Nicholas Turner - he's a former up-and-coming police detective. When his wife miscarries their child and dies, Nicholas's life plunges to rock bottom. Pulled out of the depths of despair by his sister and his best friend, Nicholas becomes a private investigator that specializes in cases that involve children. He's been successful, and has been helped by his best friend, FBI agent Marcus Moore.
When he is hired by Meredith Richardson to find her kidnapped daughter, Nicholas receives help from an unusual source: a mysterious little girl that appears when he needs a clue, but disappears afterwards.
As the case heats up, Nicholas, Marcus, and the little girl discover that the kidnappers may give all of them much more trouble than they anticipated...and Nicholas finds out that his life may not be as hellish as he thinks.
Suggested by lyrics from the classic Gordon Lightfoot song, this book will keep your attention from the beginning to the explosive climax!
